looking for. The Internet may have a lot more pages than the yellow pages, but it is much easier to find what we want to find with keyword searches.
That doesn't make the yellow pages obsolete, just less valuable than before. While the yellow pages are also online, they are not
getting any less expensive to advertise in.

- You can't search beyond the limitations of your local yellow pages book unless you are on the Internet.
- The Internet isn't in alphabetical order while the yellow pages are. Does your company start with an "A"?
- The best service advertised isn't always the biggest or most colorful yellow pages ad, nor the first you find.
- You don't have to figure out the category and then flip through the pages to find what you are looking for on the Internet.

- Most people see your ad in the yellow pages and if your web address is there, they go online to get more information anyway.

- Get your website working properly. Have a quality site that creates visitor responses and allows you to connect those visitors effectively.
- Remove any color from your yellow pages ad. It makes no difference and it is just an upsell. ( No matter what the salesperson tells you.)
- Reduce the size of your ad. How much? Try half the size you are currently using.
- Include your web address in the ad. This may increase the size and cost more than you currently pay (sorry!)
- Set up a tracking service to track your results online and from the yellow pages. The biggest mistake all advertisers make is that they do not
